Bollywood Goodness
Geva Comedy Improv has learned a lot from Bollywood films (The first
link below is from Gumnaam and the second is Janwaar both are from
sometime in the sixties). The first lesson is steal from the best. The
makers of Janwaar decided that if they were going to steal, they might
as well steal from the Beatles. That's why we at GCI scour the globe
for great improv talent like Iron Cobra, Dad's Garage or Rapid Fire
Theatre and steal as much from them as possible. Some might call this
process learning, but stealing sounds more Oceans 11 and less Revenge
of the Nerds.
The second lesson from Bollywood is to wrap it up with a big song and
dance number.
The third lesson is to wear weird masks.
That concludes your lesson...um...shoplifting session for today.
