Bollywood Goodness

Geva Comedy Improv has learned a lot from Bollywood films (The first

link below is from Gumnaam and the second is Janwaar both are from

sometime in the sixties). The first lesson is steal from the best. The

makers of Janwaar decided that if they were going to steal, they might

as well steal from the Beatles. That's why we at GCI scour the globe

for great improv talent like Iron Cobra, Dad's Garage or Rapid Fire

Theatre and steal as much from them as possible. Some might call this

process learning, but stealing sounds more Oceans 11 and less Revenge

of the Nerds.

The second lesson from Bollywood is to wrap it up with a big song and

dance number.

The third lesson is to wear weird masks.
