Bookselling to the Stars: Classic 90's Comedy Edition
This week, we also had a comedy multi-fest at The Bookseller to the
Stars.
Firstly Steve Punt, from The Mary Whitehouse Experience paid us a
browsing visit. He left only for his former running partner, Hugh
Dennis to appear, whilst I was picking up the stray copies of books
people don't want and just leave on the nearest table to the exit, I
popped my head out into the street as he was looking into the shop,
"Are you looking for Steve?"
A look of surprise crossed his face.
"Well, yeah actually."
"He went that way." I motioned left.

2007.
Then last night, we were paid a visit by none other than the actress,
Miranda Richardson. For most people in the book trade watching, that's
Rita Skeeter in the Harry Potter films to you. But to Bitsy, Miranda
will forever always be close to my Blackadder loving heart, for
playing the rold of Elizabeth.
She came in for The Road by Cormac McCarthy.
Miranda will be appearing in the upcoming Fay Weldon adaptation,
Puffball with Donald Sutherland and Spinning Into Butter with Sarah
Jessica Parker and Beau Bridges.
For those of you too young (or in many cases, mashed out on mushrooms
